Trim Options
Metropolitan Ceramics makes a wide range of trim pieces as shown. Trim pieces avaiable in X colors are Q1665 and Q1665 C. Trim pieces available in Somerset colors are Q1665, Q1665C, Q1485, and Q1485 R/L. When using any design other than these trim pieces please use the corresponding "clear tone" trim.

Our trim line features the exclusive Q8485 transition tile designed to meet and exceed standards created for the barrier free environment. The transition tile is also appropriate for remodeling use when making the "transition" from a 1/2" thick tile floor to a thinner material or a door sill, for example. The transition tile rises from a 1/4" rounded edge to a full 1/2" thickness in 3 5/8".

Also available and designed to meet barrier-free standards, is our Q1485T stair tread. The rounded nose with a slight return angle permits detailing of a barrier-free undercut to reduce the hazard of tripping. Both the Q1485T and Q8485 are available in all standard colors (except X colors and #350) and both should be back buttered and 100% bonded for sure performance.
